Hope Animal Rescue is a completely volunteer-run non-profit organization committed to saving the lives of stray and abandoned dogs in North Carolina. We give HOPE to the ones that need it most and we have a heart for the sick, elderly, and those discriminated against due to breed.

This is our BIG year end fundraiser, and a fun way to get the community involved in raising money for a very important cause! All proceeds from the calendar contest go directly to the dogs of Hope Animal Rescue. Last year we raised over $4,000 and this year we hope to raise even more to cover medical expenses. You can help by entering your pet for a chance to be in our 2020 HAR Calendar, and encouraging people to vote!

How it works:

1. Enter a high-resolution photo of your pet, along with an entry fee of $5. (1440px x 1800px or 2mb. If you win a spot in the calendar but your photo is not high-resolution, we will ask for a replacement photo, or else choose the next place entry).
2. Vote! Each vote costs $1 and there is no limit to how many votes you can purchase. Each vote is a donation to HAR (10 votes = $10 donation) and goes directly to saving homeless animals.
3. Tell everyone to vote, share the contest URL, and ask your family/friends to vote for your pet!

Voting starts on November 4th and will end on November 14th at 11:59 PM EST.

The top 12 photos will be featured in our 2019 calendar, with the photo that won the most votes appearing on the cover.

Calendars will be on sale in time for the holidays. They make great gifts, so consider ordering a few!
