Contest Rules
The submission portion of the contest begins on July 19th 2021 and will continue though November 21st, 2021

The voting portion of the contest will begin on July 19th, 2021 and will run though November 21st, 2021.


Voting will be closed at 11:59 pm on November 21st.

Photo Submission Rules
  1. Each photo submission is $10 and non-refundable. You must create an account to enter a photo.
  2. Online is the only method of entry and will be available by visiting our website (www.makemycontest.com/huskyhavenfl). Follow the directions provided to complete the entry.
  3. Only photos of Huskies or Husky mixes will be allowed. Your Husky does not have to have been adopted though Husky Haven to enter.
  4. There is no limit on the number of entries.
  5. Color photos are recommended.
  6. Photo entries must be high-resolution for printing purposes. If you are taking photos with your phone, please be sure to capture your image at the highest possible setting in order to meet our resolution criteria. Photos should be at least 2400x2400 pixels, which is 8"x8" at 300 dpi.
  7. Name the file with dogs first and last name. For example: Simba(pet name) Vogini(family name).
  8. Photos that were not taken by you, or that you do not have the rights to, will not be accepted.
  9. Any images that contain content that is inappropriate, indecent, or obscene will be removed with no refund.
  10. If photos submitted violate the rules above, you will be notified and asked to supply a new photo that complies with our rules. No refunds will be given for photos that violate the rules.
  11. By submitting your image, you agree that Husky Haven is allowed to use the image on our websites and social media for fundraising purposes.
Voting Rules
  1. Votes are $1 each though PayPal.
  2. All donations for votes are non-refundable.
  3. The same pet can be entered into the contest multiple times, but votes will not be combined across multiple entries of the same pet.
  4. Votes for photo entries must be submitted before November 21st, 11:59pm.
  5. Votes can not be changed once submitted.
  6. You can buy votes and save them to use later, it is called piggy banking them. Create an account click on the Piggy Bank tab and buy your votes. You can use them anytime during the duration of the contest. Any votes not used before contests end will be considered a donation (thank you)!
Winning photos
The photo with the most votes will be featured on the cover of the calendar and one month in the interior, as well as receiving their calendar for free. The eleven photos with the next highest votes will be featured on individual months.
Star of the Day

Submissions are $10 per day and all pet types are welcome but please be sure it is a good, clear photo of your pet. There is no limit to the number of dates you can purchase. Star of the day submissions will be accepted between July 19 and November 21st.


Dates are reserved on a first come first serve basis. Once a date is paid for, it is no longer available, if you do not submit your donation for the date(s) chosen, it will not be blocked and therefore available for others to select.
